Aloha Big Island riders of the rocks that roll…..here’s da scoop’s;
Rider’s Pack a SubWay sandwich or whatever grinds you prefer.
Staging area will be in Waiohinu @ Kau fish & Ice Supply…Be there at 9: am sharp.
Taking Ka’alu’alu road working our way down to South Pt coastline we can pitch it sideways here and there as we poke/explore the coastline all the way to the windmills having lunch on the cliff’s edge at about mile 33…then ride the coastline back to Waiohinu…60 to 70 mile all off road round trip.
Must be a street legal Big Island Dual-Sport Association rider!
There will be BIDSA sign up forms at the staging area for new riders to sign up.

10. Too busy feeling around for loose pack straps.

  9. Can’t see good through 25 layers of Tear-Off’s.

  8. Preoccupied pushing GPS and cell phone buttons.

  7. Tall knobby tires vibrate so bad you can’t see anyone. 

  6. Got a race face on heading for tough Mud Lane trail’s.

  5. Handle bar vibration is so bad, hand is to numb to wave. 

  4. Too focused on calculating miles per gallon pit stop sections.

  3. Can’t see through the front finder, when wheeling down the road.

  2. Loud pipe, slapping chain, hurricane force wind noisy helmet over rides thought to wave back.  

  1. Ass is so sore, raising left hand up to wave causes excruciating pain on the right cheek.

Aloha dual sporters from the 50th state,
Big island dual sport association will be doing an awesome ride on November 29,2009. we will be leaving Big Island Power Sports at 7:00am sharp. This will be considered a level 4 ride because of the terrain we will be encountering throughout the day. There will be one gas stop that you will need to provide your own gas can that will need to be dropped off at Big Island Power Sports on Saturday the 28th by 12 o’clock to ensure it will make it to our gas stop. Any questions about the gas can be answered by  Wayne at Big Island Power Sports. This ride will consist of the Mana road and the Hamakua coast with some lava flow crossings and more off road sections in Waimea. Please be prepared for a full day of fun and challenging riding with 200 plus miles. PLEASE NO WHINERS!! Hope to see you there.
