TRAIL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Follow this road 10.5 mi. to intersection with paved road and follow signs and markers from there. 2. Follow this road 5.5 mi. and turn right on cinder road just past pole #50. Go 7.7 mi. on the cinder road to intersection with paved road. Follow signs and markers from there. 3. Go 3.2 mi. to intersection with Kamaili Rd. Go left up Kamaili and find sign and markers about 5.0 mi. up, and follow them. 4. Go up this road, G Rd., and turn right on 3 Rd. Go to the first intersection and turn left on F Rd. Go up F Rd. to 1 Rd. and turn left Go back to G Rd. on 1 Rd. and turn right. Go to Pikaki St. and turn tight on Pikaki. Go on Pikaki St. about 4.4 mi. to Puhala & follow the signs and markers. 5. Keep the white tags on your left in this section. 6. Stay on this paved road to the intersection with the next paved road and turn left. Go 2.8 mi. to the next turn off and follow signs and markers. 7. "THE BLUE RIBBON TRAIL" you will now become a rock rider. Stay as close as you can to the blue markers. Replace any markers you may knock down. Watch out for caved in lava tubes. This is where the ties will be broken.
